MVP contracts with top Cancun resorts for marketing and promotions services in 2009-2010


CANCUN, MEXICO, July 01, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Al Gamez, CEO of MVP Media and a pioneer in the Mexico tourism industry has signed contracts with Mexico's top resorts brands to bring the NFL Legends to Mexico. Some of NFL's greatest players such as Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Champion Drew Pearson, Everson Walls, Philadelphia Eagles, Vince Papale who is also the star of the Disney Movie Invincible and Dallas Cowboy Isaiah Stanback surprised and mingled with guests while attending the NFL Legends autograph and photo press conference Saturday, June 20th in Cancun.
These important visitors attended the NFL Legends Retreat hosted by Real Resorts and Best Day Travel in Cancun from June 19-22. Local newspapers covered the story on the front page and reported the star athletes were very friendly and accommodating to the huge number of fans that attended and even placed the Super Bowl Ring on fans for photos! The Real Resorts hosting the event reported the hotels were full during the event dates and Funjet Vacations was the sponsor for US national sales.
The RIU Riviera Maya Resort is hosting the next NFL Legends event on September 25-28 in Riviera Maya.

Concurrently with the Dallas Cowboys event of June 19-22 there was a Press Trip made up of top journalists who visited Cancun and Riviera Maya to report on the top attractions of the area and send a positive message to the US market that Mexico is Safe and Fun reported Al Gamez.

The reporters interviewed the Mayors and Tourism Directors for both Cancun and Riviera Maya where the message was "this is the best time to visit Mexico" and Univision TV was present for immediate US distribution. Journalists from Houston Tribune, SF Examiner, Travel Age West, El Financiero, Travel eTV, along with photographers and film crew made up the press team. Gamez added each Mexico top hotel brand and service provider became part of the Press Trip and hosted the Press Team with VIP attention. The Mexico Tourism Office in California and Houston provided assistance with its New Link Public Relations Agency.
