Follow the Football With a Real Zaragoza Match
Travellers who love the beautiful game may want to take in a match while on a trip to Zaragoza.

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, January 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Any sports fans who have booked Zaragoza hotels in February may be pleased to learn that they could take in some La Liga football on their trip.

Local team Real Zaragoza will take on Sporting Gijon on Sunday February 21st.

Real Zaragoza are currently struggling to set the football field alight, with below-par performances so far this season leaving them one place from the bottom of the table.

In contrast, Sporting Gijon are sitting mid-table in the Spanish premier league, with ten points more than the Zaragoza side.

However, league positions are forgotten when the teams take to the pitch and anyone who attends the match is likely to see some typically flamboyant football from both sets of players.

The match kicks off at 16:00 (local time) and British football fans may be able to spot a familiar face among Real Zaragoza's line up.

Former Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant moved to the Spanish side in the summer after his contract expired at the north-west club.

In an interview with Sky Sports earlier this month, he talked about how he is happy at the club and wants to see out the season with the La Liga team.

Tickets for the match, which will be held in La Romareda, start from EUR45 (GBP39.15).
