The Thailand International Soccer Sevens tournament will take place in Bangkok in July.

This is the fifth year that the competition has been held in the Thai capital and it will feature matches in the Open Men and Masters Over-35s categories.

According to the organisers, the philosophy behind the event is to "combine sport and leisure for all people from any country through friendly seven-a-side tournaments".

What's On When explains that every team to enter the competition will be guaranteed to play a minimum of four games.

Although specific dates for the event have yet to be released, it is expected to be held at the Vichupa Ramintra ground.

People staying in Sukhumvit hotels could head down to lend their support to the teams, with English sides often featuring in the line-up for such competitions.
