Southern Orthopaedic Specialists Welcomes Dr. Susan Jordan as Newest Atlanta Orthopedic Surgeon
Southern Orthopaedic Specialists, an Atlanta orthopedic practice, welcomes Dr. Susan Jordan, an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine practitioner.

ATLANTA, GA, November 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Atlanta orthopedic practice Southern Orthopaedic Specialists is pleased to welcome Dr. Susan Jordan as the newest addition to its Fayetteville and Newnan clinic locations. Specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopy with a special interest in knee and shoulder conditions, Dr. Jordan now joins a team of some of the most respected orthopedic doctors in Atlanta.

Originally from Shaker Heights, Ohio, Dr. Jordan graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Duke University, and went on to attend Harvard Medical School. Following her graduation, Dr. Jordan completed Harvard's Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program, and then accepted a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. After her completion of the fellowship, Dr. Jordan remained at the University of Pittsburgh as Assistant Professor and attending physician.

Dr. Jordan has cared for Carnegie Mellon University football and Robert Morris University hockey and served as Assistant Team Physician to the Pittsburgh Penguins for three years, including their Stanley Cup-winning year in 2009. She enjoys working with athletes at all levels and ages, from little league to professional sports.
